Went to law school (University of Chicago), then worked at Life Span, Chicago, IL as a Skadden Fellow, helping victims of domestic violence in divorce cases.
Then worked at a private firm doing civil rights cases – now I work at Erie Neighborhood House, Chicago, IL as Director of Development & Communications – Erie House provides educational and leadership training for low-income, mostly Latino, families. We serve a lot of women, we have a preschool, after school, youth programs and also ESL for adults.
